For the safety of our players, we will not hold practices or games if the temperature is below 40°F at start time or if the Heat Index exceeds 110°F.

GAME CANCELLATIONS

Only Rockford Little League has the authority to cancel games.

Weekdays: Field conditions will be assessed at 4:00 PM, with updates sent via email and Facebook by 4:30 PM.

Saturdays: Field checks will occur at 8:00 AM, with updates sent by 8:30 AM.

LIGHTNING POLICY

In the event of lightning, play will be suspended for 30 minutes. All players must return to their parent’s vehicle during this time. Play will not resume until 30 minutes have passed since the last lightning strike.

Please note that even if games cancel at Rockford, teams playing away games may still be playing. RLL will communicate with other leagues and pass along that information to our families via email and Facebook!
